This section offers an insightful overview of our dedication to open access, The Aztlan Artifacts Project is an independent collaborative research initiative dedicated to the documentation, preservation, and scientific study of unusual artifacts, symbols, and geopolymers associated with sites in the Ojuelos–Cerro de Toro region and surrounding areas of Mexico.

Our work brings together independent researchers, scientists, engineers, artists, archivists, and enthusiasts from multiple disciplines. Contributors participate as collaborators within a shared research structure designed to encourage open investigation while protecting the integrity, continuity, and independence of the archive and platform.

The project exists to organize and publish a growing collection of images, field documentation, laboratory testing, and analytical research. We support transparent inquiry, public access to raw data whenever possible, and respectful debate grounded in evidence, materials analysis, historical comparison, and scientific methodology.

As a collaborative archive, no single contributor owns the narrative or direction of the research.
